Consider Fostering an Akita...
The process of applying to be a foster home is very similar to that of adoption. You simply complete a foster home application, your application is reviewed, one or more ARMAC adoption coordinators will interview you and a house check is conducted. If approved, you are well on your way to helping ARMAC save many more Akitas from certain death.
Donations...
We are always accepting donations; no amount is too small! We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your contribution is tax deductible in the US (to the extent permitted by law).

You may also want to consider our Virtual Fostering program, which allows you to choose an orphan to sponsor.
Volunteer...
ARMAC is an all volunteer organization. Like you, we have jobs, families and other responsibilities. Therefore, we are always in need of additonal "man power", especially in the following areas:
- Conduct house checks and interviews with prospective adopters
- Evaluate dogs at shelters
- Assist with transport
- Help with Uniquely Akita newsletter
- Photograph or video available dogs for the website
- New artwork for ARMAC merchandise
