Rainbow Image

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...

Sophie

PEACHES ("The Peach")
Beloved friend and companion of Stephanie Heher and Beth and Jeff Myers, her North Carolina family. Adopted from ARMAC in September of 2012 and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on December 14, 2021. Peaches was MAJESTIC: gloriously beautiful, powerful, determined, and dignified. She was also SILLY and a whole lot of fun. We loved her dearly and she loved us back one hundred times over. “So let the light guide your way. Hold every memory as you go. And every road you take will always lead you home. It’s been a long day without you, my friend. We’ll tell you all about it when we see you again.” (from a song written by W. Khalifa). Rest in peace, pup-pup.

Dogs' Lives are Too Short. Their Only Fault, Really. ~Agnes Sligh Turnbull Beloved companion to Carol Marek & Jeff Corzatt Springfield, VA

Chino
Chino came to us and has rescued us in so many ways. He took a grieving woman and turned her into a happy, grateful mommy. He took a rocket scientist and turned him into a loving jelly. Chino is dying but will live in our hearts forever. We are eternally grateful for his love and trust in us. His mommy has learned that through the grief, we both will be able to love again because Chino taught us that about ourselves. Chino passed 11/30/16 in the arms of his forever family. We will always love and miss our big wise baby. Ken and Jen

Suiki
Beloved Suiki, left for the Bridge January 2015. Loved and missed by Lazlo and Jane Britt Vasahelyi
