IF YOU SEE ADOPTION PENDING ON AN AKITA, IT MEANS THEY ARE IN THEIR 4 WEEK ADJUSTMENT PERIOD.  ONCE THE OWNER LETS US KNOW THAT ALL IS WELL, THE ADOPTION WILL BECOME FINAL

Missy was a stray in Durham NC.  The shelter said she tested well with dogs and the vet clinic where she was boarded said she did well with the resident cat.  She is GREAT with people.  When we picked her up for our leg of the transport, she gave us kisses as we took her out of the crate for the transfer.  She walked up to people to be petted at the rest stops.  This is a really nice little girl. These pix were taken in the shelter.  Her tails curls up nicely when she is walking and happy.   In  her foster home, she has been a very good girl, crating well, walking nicely on leash and polite to the dogs she meets. From some of her reactions, we believe she may have been hit in the past, but she still retains a very sweet dispostion.
