Soba was left in his yard when his family moved away. A neighbor took pity on him and took him to the shelter looking skeletal. Unfortunately, there was no room in rescue for him. Time passed and he grew more critical, approaching euthanasia. Luckily a space opened and he came into rescue, still very thin, with an upper respiratory infection and kennel cough. In rescue, he has become housebroken, is getting healthier, and has discovered he loves being a house dog. He pulls fairly hard on leash but has made improvement in his time in his foster home. The shelter said he tested well with other dogs, but he still has to be tested in rescue. This will happen once he recovers from his illnesses. He rides well in a car and really likes attention. NO CATS !! Keep an eye on this boy and watch how handsome he will be as he gains weight and gets healthier !!
