Description:We adopted him December 2, 2006 and brought him home to our cat and dog. The first night he and the cat got in a fight and now they must always be separated. When the cat is out, Shogun is outside. The cat gets put into a room when Shogun is inside. Shogun gets along with our other dog, but is very aggressive with bones. Our other dog can only have a bone when Shogun is outside and she is inside. Other than that, Shogun is a very docile, loving dog. He mostly lays around the house wherever his family is. When we are watching TV, he is in the room we are in. At night, he follows us upstairs and sleeps in our room. He rubs up against us when we come home at night to get as much loving and attention as possible. He will run away when not on a leash or in a fenced enclosure. He has run away three times and always comes back.
Recently, Shogun has developed an ear infection and he is becoming more and more needy. We have recently been informed that my husband will need a bone marrow transplant and we are working with NIH to find a suitable donar. This has caused us to need to find a new family for Shogun.
Shogun is a wonderful dog that I think would do wonderfully well in a family that has no other pets. He loves his family and just wants to be the center of the family.
Please help us to find a loving family for him.
