My Akita's name is Kiana. She is 4 years old her birthday October 4th, 2004. She weighs 110lbs. She does not get along with other animals though she has never bitten one but I am sure she doesn't like them. The only exposure she has had to a child is my 8 month old son and she doesn't want to be bothered by him. That is the reason I have to give her up for adoption; I don't trust her with children. She has never bit anyone though. She is obedient and getting better on the leash. She is not destructive at all she pretty much lays on her bed whenever she doesn't want to play. She has never tried to escape but doesn't like to be kenneled. She has no physical problems has never had anything wrong with her. She doesn't like baths. She is wonderful while eating she is not food aggressive at all. I can put my hand in the bowl while she is eating and she would not care. She is a great dog; it breaks our heart we have to find another home for her. She needs love and attention and someone who is boss to her but loves to play!
